June 23, 2025 | I Turn 45 — A Life Recap

June 23rd, 2025, I turn 45. I’ve lived what feels like several lifetimes packed into one: soldier, hacker, engineer, negotiator, author, student pilot, believer, and mentor. On this birthday, I’m taking a moment to reflect on the journey, not for glory, but for gratitude.

The Early Years: Serving My Country

I joined the U.S. Army as an Infantryman — boots on the ground, rifle in hand, heart filled with purpose. My service began in a world that changed overnight.

  • September 11, 2001: I was there on Day Zero. When the towers fell, my boots hit the ground. We were thrown into the unknown, tasked with protecting a shaken nation.
  • I spent time working closely with the NYPD Counter-Terrorism Units, doing anti-terror operations across NYC: riding subways in full gear, checking infrastructure, blending into the city that never sleeps but never forgets either.
  • Then came Operation Iraqi Freedom II: I was deployed to one of the most volatile theaters of modern combat. I saw humanity at its worst and its best. It taught me resilience, brotherhood, and the value of life.

IT and Technology

After the military, I made a sharp turn into the world of technology: no less intense, just different kinds of battles.

  • I became a software engineer, working on various telecom and infrastructure projects. I helped build the systems that connect the world, while quietly using my skills for more personal battles.
  • On the side, I put on my digital armor and became a white-hat hacker, targeting scammers who prey on the vulnerable. I’ve made it my mission to expose fraud, protect everyday people, and in some cases, just make life a little harder for those who deserve it.

Justice for the Injured

Eventually, I found myself drawn to the legal world, and surprisingly, it felt like home.

  • I worked my way up to become a Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Settlement Negotiator.
  • I’ve had the honor of helping clients navigate some of the darkest times in their lives — injured, scared, and unsure. I’ve fought for them with everything I’ve got.
  • I’ve personally recovered millions of dollars for those who were wronged by negligence or carelessness. Every case is a battle. Every win matters.

The Writer’s Path

Writing became therapy, confession, and calling.

  • I’ve published two books so far: pulling back the curtain on the legal world, the human condition, and the chaos behind the scenes.
  • I’m currently working on two more, and they’re going to be raw, real, and hopefully helpful to people navigating life, law, and loss.

Learning to Fly

I decided to chase a lifelong dream: learning to fly.

There’s a freedom up there that’s hard to describe, and a peace I didn’t know I was missing.

Faith and Redemption

Somewhere in the chaos of it all, I found God.

  • Not in a church pew or a dramatic moment, but quietly through people, experiences, moments of near loss, and unexpected grace.
  • Faith has grounded me in ways the military, tech, or law never could. It gave meaning to pain and purpose to victory.

Helping Others Find Their Path

One of the things I’m most proud of is the people I’ve helped along the way.

  • I’ve guided veterans, friends, and even clients into new careers, offering advice, encouragement, or sometimes just a connection.
  • Watching others rise — especially when the system left them behind — is one of life’s great rewards.

What’s Next?

Turning 45 isn’t the end of anything — it’s a checkpoint. The mission continues.

  • Finish the next two books.
  • Keep exposing scammers and corrupt systems.
  • Keep negotiating justice.
  • Keep helping people rediscover hope, careers, and purpose.
  • And most of all, stay grateful, humble, and hungry for more.

To everyone who’s been a part of this journey, thank you! Whether we served together, worked together, or just crossed paths, you helped shape the man I am today.

Here’s to the next chapter.
