Many of you have been curious about my sources of income, so I thought I’d share a detailed breakdown. Here’s a glimpse into the diverse ways I generate revenue:
1. Case Management and Legal Negotiation
In my full-time role as a Case Manager and Legal Negotiator for a Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice law firm, I handle complex cases that form the backbone of my income. The specifics of my salary are confidential, but this is my primary financial pillar.
2. Software and Systems Engineering
On the part-time front, I dive into software and systems engineering, where I leverage my skills in PHP, C/C++, Linux, VoIP, and Cybersecurity. These projects vary widely in scope and complexity, bringing in an additional $1,000 to $5,000+ each month.
3. Book Sales
Though not a major revenue stream, my books on professional subjects serve as a catalyst for broader business opportunities, helping me connect with potential clients for various consulting services.
4. Google Ads
My personal site, alexandermirvis.com, not only showcases my portfolio but also generates revenue through Google Ads, contributing about $100-200 monthly.
5. Business Management Consulting
While infrequent, consulting projects can be particularly lucrative, sometimes earning me upwards of $10,000 in months where I secure clients needing my expertise in business management.
6. Corporate Revenue Management
Any income from activities outside my full-time job, including 1099 work, is consolidated through my corporations: Centaurus Holdings, INC, and NEPA IT Consulting LLC (https://www.nepa-it-consulting.com). I’m currently in the process of merging these entities into a single corporation to streamline financial management and reduce administrative overhead.
7. GitHub Donations
I actively contribute to the open-source community by releasing various scripts related to Cybersecurity, VoIP, AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs). These contributions are appreciated by many in the tech community, and I receive about $100 – $500 monthly in donations through GitHub.
