As a software engineer and a cyber security professional, I get asked this a lot. The short answer is NO! ChatGPT is not even AI. Chat GPT is simply a Language model or more specifically a NPL (Natural Language Processor). It works by “studying” and processing text, numbers and data and organizing it. Think of ChatGPT as Google on Steroids. Instead of providing you with the most “relevant” links, it brings together relative data and compiling it for you. This includes written content, math calculations, code, etc and capturing the relationships and dependencies between words and data. ChatGPT is not designed to “think” on its own. It is specifically “trained” to provide human-like responses.
