Alexander Mirvis: Technology, Cybersecurity and Legal Operations

Different worlds. One operating system. My background spans U.S. Army infantry service, software engineering, cybersecurity, AI systems, telecommunications, legal operations, personal injury and medical malpractice settlement work, authorship, and entrepreneurship.

The common thread is practical problem-solving: understand the system, remove unnecessary complexity, and build a result that works in the real world.

Professional Background

One cross-disciplinary approach to technology, operations and negotiation

My career has moved through the military, technology, cybersecurity, telecommunications, business operations, and the legal industry. These fields overlap in important ways: each depends on process, evidence, communication, risk analysis, human behavior, and decisions made under pressure with incomplete information.

In technology, I work across software engineering, PHP, Python, C++, SQL, Linux infrastructure, AI and LLM applications, VoIP, Asterisk, FreePBX, automation, and cybersecurity.

In the legal industry, my experience centers on personal injury and medical malpractice case management, settlement negotiations, liability analysis, insurance claims, litigation support, medical records, damages, mediation, and the practical work required to move difficult cases toward resolution.

I am also an author. My books examine legal practice, negotiations, office culture, insurance companies, difficult clients, and what happens behind the polished reception area once the conference-room door closes.
